Final release of Posiflora

Interface Posiflora on a laptop

Two months ago, we had an official release of our application for the florist business Posiflora.

This point-of-sale (POS) solution allows business owners:

– to cope with the ever-changing demand;
– ensure full transparency of business processes;
– scale up the business;
– collect the data necessary for business development;
– work on business efficiency.

To make this a reality, we have equipped our system with the following set of features:

– Financial accounting: cash shifts, types of payments, percentage of write-offs, commodity balance;
– Warehouse maintenance: history of arrival, sales, inventory, and write-offs (for each stem);
– Network management: management of prices, employees, movements, adjustment of loyalty systems for each sales point;
– Off-line mode: continue working when there is no internet connection. As soon as the connection is resumed, the system will synchronize with the server;
– Flower CRM: allows you to increase business efficiency several times;
– Catalog of flowers: ready-made catalog with high-quality photos, which we are constantly replenishing.

More than 300 clients all over Russia and the nearest abroad have already appreciated the quality and effectiveness of the Posiflora solution.

Meanwhile, we are preparing a new release, with a lot of useful additions, for our dear users.

Georgian trip 2019

OrbitSoft Georgian trip

To build a strong team and reward our stuff for their hard work, we have team building trips each year. But this year is very special because this time we have been to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.

It’s one of the most popular places to visit in the Caucasus.

We have spent there four lovely days, visited several beautiful places, such as — Jvari Monastery, Holy Trinity Cathedral and a village of Mtskheta. These are one of the oldest places of Tbilisi.

And of course, we really enjoyed local foods and the people were extremely nice.

Right now, we are back to the office with great emotions and good memories, and we ready for the new projects and bigger challenges!

Our hobbies

3…2…1 Lift-off!!!

It is symbolic that this sculpture was printed by guys from our QA department (yes, 3D printing is their hobby 🙂 )

After all, they are the guarantors of smooth launches that our customers’ products require.

Our quality assurance team is involved in each step of the development process.

While our developers put their all into designing a great product, Quality Assurance are there to ensure we’ve written tests to cover all the edge cases, and that we don’t let those pesky bugs loose into the wild.

OrbitSoft Earns Recognition on Clutch

clutch

Here at OrbitSoft, we stand out from the crowds of web and app development companies by imparting excellence in every project we do. We dig deep to develop robust solutions. And to ensure that we’re still recognized as a leading provider in the IT industry, we joined Clutch, B2B online ratings and reviews platform based in Washington, D.C.

Clutch supplies prospective buyers with information, reviews, and ratings that are useful for them when choosing a service provider. They rank companies according to their social media presence, industry expertise, media recognition and awards, and case studies of their former client projects. Amongst all of these factors in Clutch’s rigorous scoring process, we’re proud to say we’ve been recognized amongst as one of the best web developers in Wyoming in their 2019 research.

To obtain an unfiltered view of our services, Clutch actually interviewed our former and long-term clients via telephone. Their reviews are curated and published on our Clutch profile, and the feedback we’ve gotten from our clients has already been more than we expected:

“Their technical expertise was incredibly useful.” – Product Director, Openledger ApS

“Their professionalism, teamwork, experience skills, and communication are all impressive.” – VP, New Products, Aviator LLC

We love serving our clients and bringing their visions to life, so we’re very glad to hear that they enjoy working with us, too.

Clutch also has two sister websites, The Manifest and Visual Objects, and our high ratings on Clutch have qualified OrbitSoft to be featured on both of them. The Manifest is a resource that offers industry insights, how-to-guides, and recommendations of top service providers like ourselves. We appear on their list of leading media buying agencies 2019. Visual Objects is a new platform that equips buyers with a digital portfolio of B2B companies’ past projects to aid buying decisions. Our portfolio qualified for their list of the best mobile app development companies in 2019.

Development and information technology have a long and rich history, and we’re hoping to build on that history and reach new technological heights on behalf of our clients. We thank Clutch for these recognitions, our clients for giving their reviews of our work, and all those who have helped our company grow. As the new year unfolds, we’re now motivated than ever before to continue delivering the best technological solutions to new and returning clients.

Web Summit 2018

Web Summit

Recently we’ve been to Web Summit in Lisbon. It’s the largest technology conference in the world, connecting the technology community with all industries.

According to official data it had a participation of 170 countries, and from which we can disaggregate a total of 1,200 speakers, 2,500 journalists, and 2,200 companies.

Also, there was an audience of 70,000 spectators, which surpasses its previous edition that had an audience of 60,000 people.

The most noticeable thing was the startups!

Startups from small and large technology companies had innovative projects never seen before. A lot of young companies were there.

And of course, we found a lot of new partners with a great potential. Really glad, that we decided to visit this expo, the best event in our schedule this year, to be honest.

See you next year!
