OrbitSoft Earns Recognition on Clutch

clutch

Here at OrbitSoft, we stand out from the crowds of web and app development companies by imparting excellence in every project we do. We dig deep to develop robust solutions. And to ensure that we’re still recognized as a leading provider in the IT industry, we joined Clutch, B2B online ratings and reviews platform based in Washington, D.C.

Clutch supplies prospective buyers with information, reviews, and ratings that are useful for them when choosing a service provider. They rank companies according to their social media presence, industry expertise, media recognition and awards, and case studies of their former client projects. Amongst all of these factors in Clutch’s rigorous scoring process, we’re proud to say we’ve been recognized amongst as one of the best web developers in Wyoming in their 2019 research.

To obtain an unfiltered view of our services, Clutch actually interviewed our former and long-term clients via telephone. Their reviews are curated and published on our Clutch profile, and the feedback we’ve gotten from our clients has already been more than we expected:

“Their technical expertise was incredibly useful.” – Product Director, Openledger ApS

“Their professionalism, teamwork, experience skills, and communication are all impressive.” – VP, New Products, Aviator LLC

We love serving our clients and bringing their visions to life, so we’re very glad to hear that they enjoy working with us, too.

Clutch also has two sister websites, The Manifest and Visual Objects, and our high ratings on Clutch have qualified OrbitSoft to be featured on both of them. The Manifest is a resource that offers industry insights, how-to-guides, and recommendations of top service providers like ourselves. We appear on their list of leading media buying agencies 2019. Visual Objects is a new platform that equips buyers with a digital portfolio of B2B companies’ past projects to aid buying decisions. Our portfolio qualified for their list of the best mobile app development companies in 2019.

Development and information technology have a long and rich history, and we’re hoping to build on that history and reach new technological heights on behalf of our clients. We thank Clutch for these recognitions, our clients for giving their reviews of our work, and all those who have helped our company grow. As the new year unfolds, we’re now motivated than ever before to continue delivering the best technological solutions to new and returning clients.

Web Summit 2018

Web Summit

Recently we’ve been to Web Summit in Lisbon. It’s the largest technology conference in the world, connecting the technology community with all industries.

According to official data it had a participation of 170 countries, and from which we can disaggregate a total of 1,200 speakers, 2,500 journalists, and 2,200 companies.

Also, there was an audience of 70,000 spectators, which surpasses its previous edition that had an audience of 60,000 people.

The most noticeable thing was the startups!

Startups from small and large technology companies had innovative projects never seen before. A lot of young companies were there.

And of course, we found a lot of new partners with a great potential. Really glad, that we decided to visit this expo, the best event in our schedule this year, to be honest.

See you next year!

Dmexco and The European Summit Networking Conference & Expo

Dmexco

We do not know about you, but this September turned out to be particularly productive because we managed to attend two exhibitions in Europe at once — one after the other.

The first was the Dmexco in Cologne, it was held September 12-13. Here we met a lot of our colleagues from the world of digital marketing and had time to share experiences with them, as well as got a lot of promising acquaintances.

Very good result, which even slightly exceeded our expectations.

Right after the end of this exhibition, we went to Prague, where the second event was waiting for us — The European Summit Networking Conference & Expo for Digital Products, which lasted for four days, 14 – 17 September.

More than 1,400 companies from the world of online entertainment, e-commerce, finance, gambling, online dating, forex, binary options, and health were waiting for us. And also it should be noted pleasant meetings with our long-time partners such as, for example, ExoClick company.

In general, all four days passed in a measured rhythm, and the exhibition turned out to be quite fruitful for us.

In general, the beginning of autumn turned out to be busy for our company, but we are not going to relax either, as the Web Summit awaits us ahead, which will be held in Lisbon from November 5 to 8.

We will be glad to meet you there, friends!

Updates to the OrbitSoft Ad Server

As you may be aware, the OrbitSoft ad server has recently experienced some updates. One of the main reasons we decided to update the product was the high costs we were continuously incurring. Our team also constantly ran into the problem of lack of flexibility when scaling, which was a result of a rigid, unbending architecture of the ad server. We were additionally struggling to put out updates due to the necessity of creating many copies of the product each time, since these copies serve the demands of different clients.

As it stood before, the ad server was split into several separate services which were completely rewritten in the Go programming language. Making this update helped us greatly increase effectiveness, while cutting costs. This new architecture allows for much more flexible scaling of our system, which supports us serving our clients better. It’s a win-win!

While creating these new services, we also generated the ability of fulfilling several requests from numerous clients simultaneously. In the future, this will simplify the updates process, facilitating the release of new versions of the product more frequently.

It’s important to note that while testing the product, we replaced a part of the NoSQL repositories on Aerospike. The system became more efficient and the number of servers which were being used in data storage was reduced.

Furthermore, our innovative team changed the subsystems of collecting and storing statistics and began using the ClickHouse data storage for gathering and processing statistical data. This will help save time for delivering collected data for end-users, and will allow the end-users to promptly react to any changes. In the future, we plan to offer our valued users the possibility of receiving reports in any sections desired.

Phew! We’ve been busy!
